The year 2015 was dull for Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, whose films could not make an impact at the Kerala box office. It seems the actor is back with a bang in 2016, as his latest movie "Maheshinte Prathikaram", released on Friday, 5 February, has been getting tremendous response from critics and audience alike.The movie narrates the story of Mahesh, who owns a studio in Idukki and works as a wedding and funeral photographer in the village. Anusree plays Soumya, his love interest from their school days. How he manages to overcome struggles in life form the gist of "Maheshinte Prathikaram"

 The movie pavada is a family entertainer directed by G marthandan and produced by Maniyanpilla raju. The story is written by Bipin Chandran and shibin francis . prithviraj plays joy a young man who leads a carefree life without any aims or responsibilities in his life. Joy acquintance babu joseph , an english professor, and they reminiscence some seemingly forgotten memmories . This flash of events from the past provides joy some insights and makes him a responsible man. the movie is set in a middle class agroicultural village. Mia and asha sharath are the heroines. Nedumudi venu and maniyanpilla raju also do prominent roles. the film also features siddique, renji panicker, kalabhavan shajon, sudheer karamana, chemban vinod,kunjan, manikuttan, kalabhavan haneef,and chali pala. and pradeep nair is the cinematographer.
